History

The Sd.Kfz.234/4 is the last model of the successful 234 series built by the Germans in World War II.

The turning point in the battle against the Germans had already occurred and this could also be seen in the design of this last model.

The Germans had already changed from the attacking side into the defensive side, so you saw in the first models of the 234 that they carried out reconnaissance tasks and support tasks.

The 234/4, the last model, was equipped with a 75 mm gun to provide resistance against the advancing armies of the Allies.

Despite the virtually destroyed German war industry, 89 of this vehicle were still built. One has been preserved and is in the German Panzer Museum in Münster.
